Parkview Mobile Home & R.V. Park is a family-oriented park located at the intersection of Route 460 & Route 24 in Appomattox County, adjacent to 460 ByPass and exit ramp -- easy on, easy off. Our park is located adjacent to the Appomattox Historical Park where Lee surrendered to Grant. Shops and restaurants are conveniently located within the Town limits and only one mile of this park. Wal-Mart is expected to open in early 2010.
Our level, pull-through sites are paved, and include water, sewage, 50-Amp service, and WiFi. Cable is also available. Reasonable, affordable rates per night, weekly, or monthly, if needed. We can also accommodate big rigs (45' plus). Enjoy a quiet setting or get some exercise walking or jogging in our park. We are a pet friendly park (no vicious breed please).
A 20-minute drive to the West will take you to Lynchburg.
*City of Lynchburg (460 West) - Home of Liberty University, Lynchburg College and Randolph College. You'll find the airport, antique shops, a farmer's market, numerous shopping centers, Wal-Mart, golf courses, hospitals and restaurants here.
*Popular Forest - one of Thomas Jefferson's homes is located just outside of Lynchburg in Bedford.
A 30-minute drive to the East will take you to Farmville.
*Town of Farmville (460 East) - Home of Longwood University and Hampton-Sydney College. Also, Farmville offers a Wal-Mart, numerous restaurants and shops including Green Front Furniture Company, which is located downtown.
