  The Chamber will host its member breakfast on
  Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 7:30 AM at
  Granny Bee's Restaurant.  

  The buffet breakfast will feature scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage, hash browns, apples, juice & coffee. 
  Cost is $9.00 per member/member guest;
  $15.00 per non-member and includes tax & tip.

  Our featured guest speaker is Linda Lipscomb, Director of the new Museum of the Confederacy in Appomattox.  Ms. Lipscomb will make a presentation on the Museum and its exhibits.

  Please mark your calendar now so that you don't miss this opportunity to meet and network with your Chamber's board of directors and local business leaders in the community.

  Please register using your member website log-in, by e-mail, or by mailing your advance payment to the Chamber.  NO phone calls please.
  Registration Deadline is Noon on Monday, March 5th.

  Payments will be accepted in advance or at the door.  All checks should be payable to the Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce.

  The first time that two ironclad warships met in battle was when the U.S.S. Monitor and the C.S.S. Virginia clashed at the Battle of Hampton Roads in March of 1862.
