The 2012 Appomattox Cheerz concert season held its kickoff event on April 20th! Great weather, good music by Sick N Tired, and good food concessions provided by the 4-H Interstate Exchange Club made for a great evening. Be sure to join us for the next event scheduled for May 18th featuring Diamondback.
Cheerz events will take place on the third Friday of each month from April through October in Abbitt Memorial Park.

We have also revamped the EmberFest event this year as a summertime "Beach Bash" event featuring the ever popular Overtime Band. This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd from 4:30p to 9p in Abbitt Memorial Park and will feature a kids' activity corner.

NOW OPEN! The Appomattox Farmer's Market has officially opened on Friday, April 27th!!! Be sure to stop by each Friday from 3p to 7p to pick up some fresh produce, organic meats & dairy products, baked goods, and plants from our local farmers and gardeners. Vendors are welcome too! Vendors can download an application here.
The market is held on the Cardinal Chevrolet overflow lot (next to Western Auto).
